If you are a 2018 grant recipient, congratulations! Please see the list of items you will need to be successful in completing all of your grant requirements. Please use this credit line below on all printed material:

Deadlines

Speaking of a final report, this must be completed 30 days after the completion of your project and no later than January 31st, 2018.

Grantee Responsibilities: Successful applicants are responsible for administering grants in a responsible, timely, and businesslike manner. Receipts and other evidence of expenditures should be maintained and kept available.

  • Projects must take place between January 1 and December 31 of the funding year.
  •  Unspent funds must be returned to Livingston Arts for redistribution.
  •  Final reports must be completed and sent to Livingston Arts within 30 days of the completion of the project.
  • Grantees must provide Livingston Arts with all publications and promotional material related to the funded project. *Add Livingston Arts to your mailing list!
    Any press releases, advertising or printed material generated in connection with the project mustcredit its funder using the following language:

“This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program
of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the
New York State Legislature and administered by the Genesee Valley Council on the Arts at the
Livingston Arts Center, a member supported organization.” You must also include the Livingston
Arts logo provided for you on the Livingston Arts website.
The NYSCA logo is NOT to be used by regrant recipients

 

  • Grantees must submit to the Community Calendar by using our online events submission form as soon as you know the exact dates of the program or event. Please submit to:

  • Two complimentary tickets for program auditors must be available at the door.
  • Grantees must return their signed contracts by January 31st of the funding year.
  • Grantees must send a representative to the annual awards ceremony to collect their funds.
  • Grantee will submit a “camera ready” 300 DPI jpg. or png. file of their organization’s logo
    to be used in conjunction with this grant program.

GRANTEE RESPONSIBILITIES:Successful applicants are responsible for administering grants in a responsible, timely, and business-like manner.

A representative of Livingston Arts (staff, board member or panel member) will interview the awardee during the course of the project, but before its completion, to receive a verbal progress report.

  • Projects must take place between January 1 and December 31 of the funding year.
  • Unspent funds must be returned to Livingston Arts for redistribution.
  • All accounts and final reports must be made to Livingston Arts within 30 days of the
    completion of the project and should include a narrative description of the of the project, an itemized list of expenses, and samples of publicity connected with the project as well as photos, unedited video, audio recording or manuscript of the project. Report forms are available on our website.
  • Press releases, advertising or printed material generated in connection with the project must credit its funder using the following language.

“This project is made possible with funds from the
Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the
support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by
the Genesee Valley Council on the Arts, at the Livingston Arts Center, a member supported
organization.”

 

  • You must also include the Genesee Valley Arts Grants logo provided for you on the
    Livingston Arts website.
  • Grantees must provide Livingston Arts with all publications and promotional material related to the funded project. *Please add Livingston Arts to your mailing list!
  • Grantees must also provide event details to Livingston Arts for publication in ArtSphere and our online Community Calendar by using our online events submission form as soon as you know the exact dates of the program or event.
  • Two complimentary tickets for program auditors must be offered. Failure to do so will affect future funding.
  • Grantees must return their signed contracts by January 31st of the funding year.
  • Grantees must be present at the annual awards ceremony in order to receive their funds.

  • Artworks that are permanently installed must include a plaque of recognition provided by
    Livingston Arts, which credits its funder and the artist. This will be finalized by consensus of the artist, Executive Director, and Program Director.

REQUIREMENTS FOR GRANT RECIPIENTS

  • Livingston Arts Program Coordinator must be notified of project planning and must provide the project dates 3 weeks in advance of the project.
  • The district superintendent must be invited to participate in at least one planning session or portion of the project day.
  • The project must be documented and publicized in and out of the school (e.g. PTA/O newsletter, district newsletter, local press coverage). Publicity must include the following language:

“This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program
of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the
New York State Legislature and administered by the Genesee Valley Council on the Arts at the
Livingston Arts Center, a member supported organization.” You must also include the Livingston
Arts logo provided for you on the Livingston Arts website.
The NYSCA logo is NOT to be used by regrant recipients

 

  • The artist/ cultural organization and teacher must complete a final assessment and financial statement on a report form provided by Livingston Arts. This final report must include evaluation of the artist(s), student responses, planning process, and administrative support. It must be submitted no later than one month after project completion. (*Note: this is not a confidential report. The teacher and artist/cultural organization may discuss the assessment.)
  • Project team must be willing to share their experience through either of the following: a brief narrative of the process, from planning to completion; or, mentoring another team.
  • Failure to meet these requirements will result in ineligibility for future funding.
